Macro Blog 5 - How to Succeed

Jobs can be very scarce lately. With a recession going on, there are less jobs and more people unemployed. This affects everyone, from old veterans in the work world to young newcomers just released from high school. Students who attend a technical high school is trained to prepare for the world of work So this may prove intimidating towards students who graduate during this recession. Some people may consider it is pointless to go to a school who prepares you to pursue a career when there aren't too many career opportunities available. I disagree, however. I feel that we have the potential to make opportunities for ourselves so long as we work hard towards our goal. These people are bound to find a job somehow, somewhere, even if they come from a technical school during a recession. Others may argue that technical school graduates will most likely not be able to find a job right after high school. It is understandable that a student who does not apply themself will have much difficulty in pursuing a career. That is why a person must apply themself in order to succeed. This applies to much more than mere high school graduates, however. I feel that this applies to life in general. And hopefully my fellow students and I are smart enough to work hard towards our dreams.
